Terms of Service

1. The service

Animal Chess is a free browser game of Jungle chess (Dou Shou Qi): play against the computer or other people online, with ranking, friends, quests and piece costumes. We may add, change or discontinue any feature without notice.

2. Accounts

• You can play as a guest or sign in with an existing account (for example Google). You are responsible for activity on your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old, or have a parent's or guardian's consent as required where you live.
• Player names and avatars must not impersonate anyone or be offensive, sexual, violent or infringe anyone's rights. We may rename or remove anything that does.

3. Conduct

When using the service you must not:

• Cheat: use engines or bots in ranked games, lose on purpose to boost a rank, or use multiple accounts to farm rewards.
• Harass, threaten or spam others, or share illegal or hateful content in messages.
• Attack, probe for vulnerabilities, overload, reverse engineer or interfere with the service's servers or code.
• Use the service for commercial or unlawful purposes.

4. Coins and virtual items

Coins, XP, ranks and costumes are in-game virtual items with no monetary value. They cannot be bought with real money, exchanged for money or transferred outside the game. Match stakes use virtual coins only. We may adjust prices or balances, or remove items obtained through bugs or cheating.

5. Your content

You keep your rights to the names, pictures and messages you submit, and allow us to store and display them in the game to provide the service. We may remove content that breaks these terms.

6. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. You may stop using the service at any time and ask for your account to be deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual property

The interface, 3D models, sounds, code and the Animal Chess brand belong to us. The traditional rules of Jungle chess are shared heritage; these terms grant you no rights to our assets beyond playing the game.

8. Disclaimer

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. Live games may be lost when a server restarts.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including the loss of coins, ranks or virtual items.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the “Last updated” date will change accordingly. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the new terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam.
